RocReport is a platform for the people and civic authorities to connect with each other. People can report problems such as broken lamps, snow pile up on road etc. and they will be notified when the authorities take action on the problem.
It was developed as a part of Rochester Civic App Challenge by Angel Cambero Ramos, Debjit Saha and me, and won the kickoff hackathon.
As of now, we have a website and an Android app. Users can report problems using either the Android app or the website. People who do not want to sign up can also report through Twitter tweeting #rocreport with geolocation enabled.
It is completely open source and you can view the source code on github:
The demo website is live at http://184.108.40.206/rocreport/
